Then u can only restore 2 those firmwares...
U can restore 2 them by
- Download the latest version of The Firmware Umbrella*You must login or register to view this content.
- You must also download the stock firmware of the version you would like to restore in your hard drive.*
- Open the umbrella program and plug in your iPod *and click 'show shsh'.*
- Click 'start TSS server'.
- Put your iPod into DFU mode.*
- Open iTunes and press shift + restore and point it to the stock firmware.
- Let iTunes do its thing.
- Once restored, stop the TSS server and exit the umbrella program.

How come when I download a firmware its always in zip. and doesn't actually have the firmware

Rename the zip as a IPSW... It should then change the icon 2 a box with an iPod nd a music note on it

Yeah I just releasied that, but so now im updating to 4.0 and it say iTunes is unavailable to update or something like that. It gives this error 3004

Did u use the method I said 2 posts ago???
