I have an iPod 3rd Generation 8gb on 4.2.1

I'd try many way to DFU mode but I can do it when my iPod is NOT connect with my PC but when connected it just start normally but not in DFU.

- I've already JailBreak my iPod, but I've restored it cause Cydia wasn't working and the other time I couldn't open my music xD.

- I've already done many times DFU mode but why mine doesn't DFU I did it on an iPad, an iPod 4th Generation and on that one but when I'd bought it.

connect your iPod to the computer.
Solution1~If iPod is on
1)Hold Home and Sleep button together
2)Hold until iTouch turns off
3)While iTouch is off for 4-5 sec
4)Release Sleep button and continue holding the Home button for at least 15sec
5)You should now be in DFU Mode.
To make sure you are in DFU mode, Hold sleep button for at least 5sec and if the iTouch does not turn on that means it was successful.

Solution2~If iPod is off
1)Press sleep button for 3-5 sec
2)Don't release sleep button and press home until the iTouch turns back off. Keep holding for 3-5sec
3)Now let go of the Sleep button and continue holding the Home button for 10-15sec.
4)You should now be in DFU Mode.
To make sure you are in DFU mode, Hold sleep button for at least 5sec and if the iTouch does not turn on that means it was successful.

^If the above solutions don't work, there must be something wrong with your USB port. Try restarting your computer^

Thanks I know that like I said I've done it many times but doesn't work on my iPod I've seen this many time that people where saying that is iPod 3rd Generation doesn't and I've seen a thread about that saying that its not often you see an iPod with that problem but it happens, so is there a program or something else to force DFU?

It needs to be plugged into the PC for you to be able to put it in DFU mode. /facepalm
