Post: How to put your iPod or iPhone into Forced Safemode

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm not sure why you'd want to do this, but I've found a glitch that forces your jailbroken iPod or iPhone into safemode. To do this, you need to make sure you have aTube and Backgrounder. Once both of these have installed, load up aTube, but as it's loading with the following screen:

You must login or register to view this content.


Push and hold the home button (this should then say "Backgrounding Enabled") and then it will freeze for about 5 - 10 seconds. It will then respring and your iPod or iPhone will be in safemode.

Again, I hold no responsibilities if your iPhone or iPod gets damaged or broken.

I guess you could play this trick on a friends' iPod or iPhone (who doesn't know about safemode or whatever)...

or you can get sbsettings and hit power then safe-mode.

This is more like a glitch thing though; I knew there was something like that in the sbsettings, but didn't they change it so it was only the power-down button?

no they havent changed it atleast not for 4g, but pretty cool glitch you get +rep.

Thanks, but they might of changed it to that in the newer fw, whilst the older fw still has only the killswitch
