I didn't even know redsn0w could jailbreak 4.2.1... But greenpois0n is best as it's the most well-known jailbreak and is made by the same guy who made blackra1n, so it's definetly trustworthy. Also, greenpois0n is not as glitchy as redsn0w, however, 4.2.1 jailbroken is glitchy in itself, as it has been causing the jailbreak to go into safemode, then crash, then reboot, or brick it totally, that's why I've stayed at 3.1.3

I wouldn't even be an iPhone owner if you couldn't jailbreak it. Sad to say, but there's too many thing that you can do when you jailbreak. I first jailbroke on 4.0.1 with jailbreakme.com version 2. Then I did the 4.1 jailbreak with limerain, then 4.2.1 with greenpoison RC5, then RC6, then RC 6.1.

Are tech savvy? For people that aren't, Greenpois0n would probably be the best choice, as its a lot easier, and faster, in my opinion. ALso, you don't need to download the iOS for whatever firmware your on, you just connect the iPod, and jailbreak, without any data loss. :y:
