I understand what you're saying but I'm really not sure how you could do it. I would recomend just buying a wireless router and adding that to your home network setup. They are relatively inexpensive if you are not using them for gaming. I have one that I payed about $40 for and I use to play online with my PS3, run internet on laptop, run netflix on Wii all at the same time and works flawlessly. It's a netgear but I can't gauruntee the same results for you depending on your ISP and Internet speeds.

I have no idea what you're talking about. USB tether? You mean use your iPod Touch to share your internet by connecting it through USB?? I highly doubt that.
