you would have to do a restore, just download the 4.2.1 firmware from google and connect your ipod. then in itunes hold shift and hit restore and find where you saved the 4.2.1 firmware to

U can check this by goin into cydia nd on it's homepage at the top u will see shsh..... Mine for example says: 4.1, 4.2b3, 4.2.1, 4.3b1, 4.3b2, 4.3b3, 4.3

If urs says 4.2.1 then u can update to 4.2.1

yea like he said. if you have it, download a stock 4.2.1, shift+restore in itunes to it. you will now receive an error. use You must login or register to view this content. to kick out of recovery. there you go :plank:

Yea this doesn't work for me. I had already tried it when 4.2.1 first came out and for some reason on my PC (even with SHSH 4.2.1 saved) it will not let me update. After the error message my phone is back at 4.1 with all my stuff on it still. My friend on a Mac however did not have a problem. But either way I am set on staying at 4.1 and I would like to find another way to do it.

There was something that I got off of Cydia about a week ago that changed the bootlogo for me through the settings. I deleted it because I thought it was slowing my startup down, but later I realized that it wasn't. When I went to download it again I forgot what I had searched/downloaded.

But I am 100% you can get a image to replace your boot logo on 4.1 although animations did not work. Any help would be appreciated (not directed individually to you whoever i'm quoting).

I actually Think you Can get animated bootlogos if you download something that greenpois0n installs automatically. Try GO into section with bootlogos and it says in the description.
