So Much Win.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As much as it pains me to say it.. apple is supposed to "fix" jailbreaking with iOS 4.3.1

A slight iOS "tweak" is expected to be rolled out from Apple within the next two weeks, says a new report from BGR. iOS 4.3.1 for the iPhone and iPad could be available around the 1st of April. The update will supposedly address minor bugs and security holes. The "minor bug fixes," however, allude to a fix that would patch a vulnerability that enabled the freshly unveiled iPad 2 to be jailbroken so quickly after its release just ten short days ago.

Also on tap for iOS 4.3.1 are:
Baseband updates for the 3GS and 1st generation iPad
Fixed memory hang that results in memory corruption when reading large files from USIM filesystem
Fixed problem with NTLM authentication in apps and on websites
Fixed issue with the Springboard and 3rd party apps not recognizing the gyroscope on the iPad 2
Few other details about the rumored iOS update are known, particularly with regard to Apple possibly bringing its updated OS to Verizon iPhone's 4. Only weeks old itself, iOS 4.3 serves up a host of improvements, ranging from more secure in-app purchase controls and beefed-up Safari Web browser, to personal hotspots for tethering a 3G data connection over Wi-Fi and support for AirPlay in third-party apps. Such a prompt update to 4.3.1 likely suggests a knee-jerk reaction on the part of Apple to patch the vulnerabilities that continue to be exploited for jailbreaking purposes.

Don't want to piss on your bonfire or anything, but nearly every iOS update is designed to "fix" jailbreak exploits :P and even if they do, hackers will always find another way to exploit the system :P for example, ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization) is Apple's latest attempt to foil jailbreaking. It makes it much trickier to use certain jailbreak necessities, such as Mobile Substrate. But wait! iOS 4.3 was recently pwnd with a new Mobile Safari exploit!

My point it... hackers will always find a new way.

This is no "news". Apple has been trying to stop unregistered code on to their devices from the start. Every update patches the current exploit, then hackers find a new one, so on and so on.

The 4.3.1 ramdisks aren't encrypted. interesting. Apple is just handing out the vfdecrypt key now...

iPad2 (WiFi Version) 4.3.1 vfdecrypt key -- 6f7502e91f3239f907b6bf8955f191b276ec57c392d2beffb3fbc5392da0bc86e65d684e

Maybe apple gave up on stopping jailbreakers...
SIKE.. I know Their is a reason why apple did this... I just can't figure it out right now.... XD

Whoops forgot to explain what this has 2 do with the thread...

It proves part of the thread right (apple will b making slight adjustments on 4.3.1)
But I proves the stoping Jailbreaks part wrong... At this point it seems easier..

I love joining an argument about a topic that has already being solved by the time I join (new jailbreaks already out).
Its like speaking from the future :p

In regards to the retards who were arguing about the legality of jailbreaking, Ye, jailbreaking anything is legal, as long as you aren't downloading copyright apps from the appstore. Its also illegal for apple to **** wiv ur idevice because u jailbreak it (like the iBooks error, if u got this, sue apple plz (no joke, get a lawyer and sue them)). But its not illegal for apple to try foolproof their firmware, so we cant jailbreak it in the 1st place. Fortunately, Hackers > Apple Happy
