Yeah, it was me originally, I wasn't making a jailbroken one though, I was going to make a proper Apple Appstore one which would be free, etc...

Found out that I can't currently do it as I'm broke, & I don't have a working Mac anymore.

If you read my post, I said I have Ubuntu 10.10, half the windows programs will not run through WINE, and I don't want to risk messing up my friend's new iPod Touch because some lousy program won't run on Ubuntu.

when you jailbreak it go on cydia and back your blobs on salukris server (yes i cant spell for sh*t i know)

I don't know much about Ubuntu due to the fact I use Windows XP.. But an idea would be, to use a vm (virtual machine) on ur computer.. But like I said idk much about Ubuntu.. Or maybe bring the iPod to some1s house who has windows/Mac and jailbreak it there....

I know how to back up, etc... I'm probs the smartest person at jailbreaking at my school, but due to it being Ubuntu 10.10, I have nearly no experience in using it, so I would like to know HOW to jailbreak it with Ubuntu 10.10.

I know that there's a VMware equivalent for Ubuntu, but I have no discs to make the Windows disc.

Well.
Use vital box which Is just Like vmware.
If you don't have a USB or q cd you can use you iPod as the memory stick
Use that and then jailbreak it on windows
I thought that there was greenpois0n for Linux.......
