Maybe is disabled on your phones by default. Going to Settings > Phone and switching FaceTime on could be your quick solution. If FaceTime is enabled but still not working, try switching it off and then back on again. It will take a few minutes.

Like NGCouqi_PR said, try to see it is is disabled. If that still doesnt work, try to go to the Apple website, and search for any similar problems. IF you really want facetime to work give Apple a call. :y:

i have tried both solutions its still not working thanks for your help + repped you. any other ideas i just dont want to call apple it takes forever

This happens alot !

Sometimes this happens to me, all I do is turn the phone off and back on and reconnect to my wifi. That does the trick. If that doesn't work, jailbreaking it might have effected it.

1) restore your phone, if it still doesn't work than

2) bring it to an Apple retailer and if it is under warranty still they will give you a brand new phone on the spot

(every iPhone4 has a one year warranty from Apple)

Well mine is jailbroken and works
But I'm still on 4.2.1 so updating might of affected it but I dunno

i love facetime, i use it a ton...its a great feature

Have you deleted any of the LaunchDaemons on ur device? One of them is required for FaceTime.
