(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This has happened to me twice now, and I'm just wondering if it has happened to anyone else or if anyone has gotten a replacement phone from Apple.

This is with my iPhone 4 and the two instances are as followed;

1) Plugged my iPhone into the wall charger and put the phone under my covers and fell asleep. When I woke up the phone was at 0% and would not power on (still plugged in).

2) Attached my Mophie battery-case to the iPhone and placed the phone in my jeans. Rolled the jeans up and put them in my back pack. 4-6 hours later the phone was dead and wouldn't power on.

I am not an iPhone novice and I realize that my phone overheated and something caused it to drain the battery. Both times my phone was very hot after this happened. I am only looking for responses that tell me maybe I can go get a replacement phone from Apple, but don't want to restore my 4.1 Jailbreak and go into an Apple outlet to find out first hand.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, this usually happends when you charge the iPhone alot example: You plugged the iPhone on 3:00 pm , and it finish charging like 7:00 pm but you leaved it more time... Maby thats what happened, if not, the battery is dead btw bro...

Yeah of course that's what I did I wrote that in my thread. The first time was overnight so 6-8 hours, the second time was 5 hours. Regardless of how much I charge it my phone should still hold a charge plugged in is the point I'm trying to get at.

If I want to use my phone all day and charge it overnight for 8 hours I shouldn't wake up with a dead phone you understand where I'm getting at?

And what you said at the end doesn't really make sense "the battery is dead by the way bro?" you're mis-using the word bro and btw ur making yourself sound foreign. If the battery is completely dead don't you think I would have mentioned that?
