BUT IT WILL TURN ON BUT JUST GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE ICONS.
i reset it will it was running on greenposions 4.2.1 jailbreka.
its a 2g ipod

no I download it and is a .IPSW file U just need to select it on iTunes

What app did the OP install that caused this to happen? If he can uninstall it through ssh or another method I know of, he might be able to get around a recovery.

Yea U can do what JoseTua say I was not sure if that work but I try to change it and work. And Pills, U read the posts? I already say that.

You didn't necessarily tell him how to do it though, and it depends on what tweak or app he installed, on how he's going to have to uninstall it, seeing as how it won't turn on completely.
