if theres a 4.3.1 JB how will you do it on a device that doesn't support 4.3.1

(according to my pal 4.3.1 wasn't released for 2G'S but it doesn't work anyway) following devices are suppoerted;

iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4 (AT&T Version) - (nOT vERIZON)
iPad 1
iPod Touch 4G
Apple TV 2G

it was just the fact that i read an email from apple and it said update your device to IOS4.3 thats why i was asking
