This story has ended.
iOS 4.3.2 gave me a modest increase in battery life. So, I'd recommend updating.

There is no reason not to update, now that there is a jailbreak.

The only reason I could think of is compatibility with tweaks from Cydia. Do they all work on 4.3.2?

I haven't heard of any that are not compatible. If you have specific ones you use I recommend checking first.

So far the tweaks I use work, but I can't say I'm happy with 4.3.2 for my iPod Touch 4G. I upgraded it yesterday and jailbroke using snowbreeze, and it has much lower RAM than 4.2.1 did.

That's very odd. Are all of your settings the same?

Yes they are all the same. Many users have also reported 20-30 MB less RAM than 4.2.1.
