(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a iphone 3g that I want to jailbreak, but every time I try running greenpoison it says to try again after I follow the on-screen instructions, like hold for 10 seconds, etc. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

mines a ipod 3g and i get loader and install cydia but the cydia icon is just a white square and i cant open it

greenpois0n doesnt work with iphone 3g, use redsn0w

I've tried redsn0w twice, and one time it completely bricked but i got lucky, used ih8snow with redsn0w cfw or whatever, and for whatever reason it worked. Im not gonna try till i know for sure, but how does limerain work with the iphone 3g? Any problems or is it a pretty for sure program?

Just some background info here, both me and my friend have tried it with my iphone and we both had the same exact problem, he's jailbroken over ten iphones and itouches with no problems up until now.

limera1n is for 4.1 not 4.2.1 but your not suppose to use a CFW with redsn0w, either restore you iphone with the custom firmware made with sn0wbreeze through itunes, or use an original stock 4.2.1 iphone 3g firmware with redsn0w to jailbreak, if your windows vista or 7 make sure you set compability to windows xp and run as admin. ive jailbroken over 50 iphone and ipods lol every idevice is jailbreakable some are harder then others


EDIT: i lied ipad2 isnt jailbreakable to us yet lol, im sure the devs have somethin but not publicly released yet
