Post: Ipod touch DFU problem

Haxor!
and i go into redsnow get the IPSW
then when it tells me to go into DFU mode
i do,
and it never recognizes it,
i know its in DFU but it never works,
ive tryed Redsnow 0.9.6rc14 and 0.9.6rc12 and snowbreeze,
is there somthing wrong with my ipod?
i jailbroke my other ipod 3rd gen on 4.2.1
using Green pois0n no problem.

Make sure your ipod is turned OFF before u put it in DFU

I assumed it was off. He's going to be mad if that's why it isn't working.
I'm pretty sure he does have it off though, as I asked if his computer recognized his iPod while on, and he said yes. It doesn't recognize it in DFU mode though.
