Ipod is cheaper and more portable, it can fit in your pocket so when you are at school u can use the headphones from your pocket. But it depends if you like music or games more.

i'd prefare iPad but thats only because I have an iPhone for listening to music and portability if i never had that i wouldnt be able to chose lol

the ipad definately if its for use at home but if u get a bus to school or work or whatever its nice to have an ipod to listen to but ipad is certainly better for apps and... well everything
