The thing is, these apps let me CALL, but somehow I can't RECEIVE.. And the phone I'm using to call the iPod is my house phone (do they not support house phones? only mobile or..?).

There is a new way, but you need to buy it, is called Apple Peel. Is a new thing that you buy and transform a itouch into iphone. It cost about $70+

Just get textfree with voice and download some of the apps for free minutes, works fine for me

Well I used house phone to call, & if it doesn't work on house phones then it kinda has no use for me. I want it to supoort house calls for something very important *winks*
