Like DiJiTalTwO report yesterday the maker of MacDefender malware updated it to bypass the Apple security, but now Apple update the security to block in a new way all the malwares.

A new entry for "OSX.MacDefender.C" has been added to the Xprotect.plist file that contains the signatures for identifying malware.

Starting with Security Update 2011-003 Apple has introduced a daily background process that checks for updates to its definitions.
