To activate iOS5 beta 1 with iFile:

1. Install iFile on your jailbroken iOS5 beta 1 device.

2. Open iFile and navigate to: SYSTEM / Library / CoreServices / SystemVersion.text

3. Open with PROPERTY LIST VIEWER

4. delete the RELEASE TYPE BETA STRING

5. Turn off your iDevice, run redsn0w again and boot tethered.


6. When the pineapple boot logo comes up and redsn0w says the JB is finished, unplug your iDevice.

7. When your iDevice turns on, plug back into iTunes and sync!!!

Voila! You can now use multitasking, notification centre, iMessage E.G!

i cant make it install on my device. is there any trick?
