Apple Cuts iPhone 4 Production Ahead Of iPhone 5 Launch

If the reports are correct, then Apple has told its suppliers to manufacture fewer iPhone 4′s before the alleged Fall release of the next-gen iPhone.

According to a source in the industry, suppliers have received “disappointing orders” from Apple:

This slight reduction (approximately 10%) in iPhone 4 orders is in no way causing Apple to lose sales. Meanwhile, Apple is still pumping out iPad 2 orders and they are expected to see a 70% jump in next quarter to 8 million units:
