Hey guys today I'm going to be showing you how to pimp out your iPhone or iPod!
Just to start off I'd like to show you two pictures, one of a regular old boring iPhone and then a picture of my iPhone, which looks better?

Regular iPhone

My iPhone You must login or register to view this content.

So as you can see with using all of the features of cydia you can really make your iPhone or iPod sexy and stand out, and by following the next few steps your boring iPhone can look like mine :mudkip:

Step 1: Apps
There are a few apps that you can download through cydia to help you pimp out your iPhone, a few I recommend are:

1. Winterboard You must login or register to view this content. Winterboard is a very useful application, it lets you download custom themes and tweaks for apps on your iphone to make it have an overall better appearance.

2. Bytafont You must login or register to view this content. Bytafont is very useful if you are bored of the default iphone text, it lets you choose from a variety of other fonts.

3. Vwallpaper You must login or register to view this content. This application is very cool, it lets you have moving backgrounds on your iphone, for example the matrix theme with falling text, or a rolling trollface  (Warning though these drain battery life!)

Step 2: Tweaks
Tweaks are changes that you can download from cydia to make your iPhone visually more appealing or in some cases make more sense (facepalm apple)

All of these can be downloaded from cydia

1. Five Icon Dock- if you look back up to the picture of my iphone, you will notice I have 5 apps in my dock instead of 4, this tweak allows you to add one more application into your dock.

2. Five Icon Springboard- This lets you have 5 icons in each row instead of 4, letting you place more apps on each page.

3. Barrel- Barrel is a really cool tweak, it lets you change the animation of the page switch, for example you can change it to a page flipping, a cube turning, or even a curl and roll away.

4. Infinifolder- This is a very helpful tweak, just by reading the name you probably can assume what it does. It lets you place an infinite amount of applications in a folder, helpful if you have a ton of apps.

5. Lockinfo- This tweak allows you to add stuff like newsfeeds, a calender, social network updates, and weather to your lockscreen. I really recommend this and don't know why apple did not include this in original firmware.

Step 3: Themes
Hopefully by now you have downloaded winterboard, here I will be telling you some of the coolest themes to download on cydia.

All of the following themes are good, these in my opinion are the best you can get from cydia:

xQuisite HD

OmegaHD
You must login or register to view this content.

Obsidian HD
You must login or register to view this content.

UINique (My current)
You must login or register to view this content.

XHD
You must login or register to view this content.

These in my opinion are the best themes you can download from cydia, but I'm sure there are other good ones as well.

Thanks for reading my thread and hopefully this helped you pimp out your iPhone 4 or iPod!
