(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I need some info!

So basically I just got my iPhone 4 today and I want to jailbreak (I know what its all about, I have done it before) WIll it void my warranty and insurance??

I know you guys will say that if something happens just put it into DFU mode and restore it but what if something happens that doesn't allow me to do that?

Thanks in advanced, Please quote me with your reply so I am notified Happy

I had an iPod jailbroken with like 2 apps from Cydia and I would play 2 minutes of glow hockey and be down to 35%. If all you do is check updates then it's worth it. But if you use it for long road trips I'd think again. Just my experience, I have heard stories where jailbreaking doesn't affect battery life at all, however for others it does. Make sure to create a restore point for it on iTunes. And use Redsn0w, it is by far the best, I used Greenpoison, didn't like it. Thats where the battery problems came in and slowed my iPod down like a bitch.

Again, just my experience.

Jailbreaking has an absolute minimal hit on battery life. I've jailbroken over 200 times for people and never once had anyone complain of bad battery life after jailbreaking. Some builds of iOS have bugs that cause them to display the wrong battery level, then Apple fixes it and increases battery life.

Jailbreaking shouldn't affect battery life in the slightest :y:

The jailbreak itself in theory should speed ur device up due 2 the fact is unlocking some security checkpoints.. As for battery life.. It shouldn't b affected aslong as u exercise some self control when installing tweaks tht rely on the mobile substrate...

Jailbreak it.One suggestion is download apps in cydia that you need.Don't download cydia apps just because you heard it's a good app or it's in the top 10 apps.

Trust me I was really worried about this too, I was scared it was going to break or something like that. But one day my friend came over and helped me put it in DFU mode and I honestly jailbroke it in 30 seconds. I can say from experience it is definetely worth it. Not just because you can get free apps, but because you can customize your iphone totally to your liking.

Yes it will void your warrenty but as long as you plug it in and restore it when you need to bring it to apple they have no way of telling you ever jailbroke :y:

I made a thread about what you can do with a jailbroken iphone you should check it out sometime Smile
