Customizibility (I'm the kinda guy that shows off my latest mods and customizations to all my friends )
Custom apps (For instance, I have the nyan cat that loops forevor, when my lil bro won't shut up, i toss him it. Custom app, not in stores.

CONs
MAY lower battery (depends how you use it)
I believe it voids any warranty you have
MAY freeze (back EVERYTHING up)

I did it to mine, but I'm always near a outlet to charge it. I use dreamboard opposed to winterboard, so bassically what i can do, is i have my normal itouch screen, and one app is labeled dreamboard. I click on it, and it brings me to my customized one. ZYou can make changes without resprining. (Restarting the itouch basically) Winterboard requires you to. Also, if you do it, installious is a must. That is how you get the free apps, grooveshark for music.

In conclusion, if your idevice has a warranty, and you see a need for the waranty in your near future, don't. If you require your itouch to last long periods of time without charge; dont. If you are ok with those, It's for you. Hope this helped.
