(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently got an iPhone 4, but its sim locked to one of the companies in the states, it came straight from apple with 4.3.3 on it and i need a way to unlock it so i can use it here in canada.

No. You have to state which company its with etc.. You don't get slammed with scamming etc unless you state what the buyer needs to know.

Are you able to access inside the iPhone itself? If you can go to settings > about > scroll down and it should say the carrier

i jailbroke it and i can access everything, it says carrier unavailable

Okay. Call Apple: 1-800-MY-APPLE

and tell them you just bought an iPhone 4 from online, but your unsure what provider its with, and that you would like their assistance.. they'll simply ask for the IMEI and/or serial number and they'll let you know.
