I Break The Rules.
I don't really believe in this site. I like to use an untethered jailbreak program like GreenPoison seems to be more reliable.

I agree that a program like Greenpoison or Redsnow (Or a combination of the two as I did) is the way to go. But some people prefer ease and quickness over reliability. Yes it is stupid to not take the extra time for more reliability... But people do what people want.

I used GP and RS for my iPhone 4 too.

Yeah I did an iTouch 2g and when I did just greenpoison, the "loader" app that installs Cydia just kept crashing. So then I restored to 4.2.1, jailbroke using redsnow, and then installed greenpoison over it to allow untethered reboot. Best way I have found to do it in all of my research. :y: We be pros :bro:

Well, I tried it once and nearly scared myself to death because I couldn't get my iPod to turn back on!!! (Lol) It was on my laptop, but maybe the laptop was the problem. I haven't tried it just on a regular desktop computer yet....

No it doesnt care if you are on a laptop or a pc it´s the same , what program did you use

I just used windows. I don't know what happened, it just didn't ever come up with the jail break button.
