I have a fix if u can SSH to your device if yes then go to /private/var/root/Library/Preferences
Then open com.apple.springboard.plist
Now search for
<key>SBDeviceLockBlocked</key>
below that line there should be a line that says
<true/>
change this to
<false/>

ok, well its faster depending on how much stuff you have and how good you are with FTP stuff

Well restoring is 10 minutes max and rejailbreak 3 min. = +/- 13 min
and ssh an iPod and changing 1 line is 5 min max

ooh and those people who can't ssh means they can't even jailbreak
