(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, a family member of mine is travelling right now, and I have the chance to get a brand new iphone from the Apple store for $670 Canadian. I'm debating this and curious of what you guys would do.

Would you buy a iPhone 4 with a sales tax of 5%, or would you wait and get the iPhone 5 with a sales tax of 15%?

5% sales tax = $32 extra ontop of the MSRP
15% = $130+ ontop of MSRP

What would you do?

Just buy the thing. For all I know is it's gonna be release fall and thats it. They might delay and might be release earlier than the given date.
If you want to get the new iPhone 5 with the new processor that was used for iPad 2. It's worth the wait if you asked me.

Yeah, I'd get the 5 in a heartbeat, but I won't have the 5% tax rate by that time, its big decision atm because i know the 5 is coming VERY soon

Let me ask you an offtopic question: Are you related to Selena Gomez? Because Selena has a canadian tour very soon.

definitely wait it out, you've lasted this long without an iphone so surely another couple of months you'll be fine. Only of course if your happy to pay the extra cash, but if you are then it would definitely be worth it

I would just wait to get it, I mean it's right around the corner.

U wont @ me doe
Or you could buy the 4 just so you have one, then sell it when the 5 comes out so you can pay the sales tax and some of the total cost. It seems dumb but if you want an I phone bad, just do it.

I heard its only gonna have hspa+, which is a small upgrade from regular 3g, and the iphone 4 display is already the best, you should get the iphone 4 now with the cheaper price tag
