It’s been over two years since the release of the original iPad and sadly, Facebook hasn’t incorporated iPad support into their Facebook app, until now! All you have to do is download the latest version of the Facebook app, get iFile (from Cydia) and follow the 5 simple steps listed below:

1. Open iFile and navigate to var/mobile/applications/Facebook.app
2. Find info.plist, tab it and then hit Property List Viewer
3. Scroll down to UIDeviceFamily and tap it
4. Change the value of 0: from 1 to 2 (just tap the 1 on the far left of the screen) and then hit done

Unfortunately when Facebook heard that Jailbroken users were accessing their social network via a native iPad app, they blocked support for the “unofficial” app, you can still load it up but you will not be able to log in! While this seems useless, rest assured that Facebook is working on an iPad app.
