(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Need help downgrading a iPod touch 4 I've not got any shsh blobs, it keeps giving me the error 3194 even with modified host file.

Sorry but you can't downgrade if you don't have the SHSH save.

No because that register the HDID of your iDevice so is almost impossible to do a fake one right now :(

in the future you really need to save SHSH using tinyumbrella or SHSHit from Cydia, or even just by clicking the heart 'make my life easier' on the cydia home screen, that really is the only way to be sure you can downgrade your iDevice at anytime

To downgrade you must have the firmware you want to downgrade to and you must put your device in pwned DFU with redsnow Smile i downgraded from 4.3.5 to 4.3.3 :P

the only way to downgrade is to go to a firmware that apple is still signing, for some odd reason they are signing 4.1(thats the only one besides 4.3.5) so i would hurry and downgrade ASAP. i did it today on a 3GS and can confirm it works.

Yhea, it works for 3GS and iPod touch 2G I belive, but TS have an iPhone 4 so it wont work for him.
