Starting off, we have been told that even though Apple seeded iTunes 10.5 beta 8 last week, iOS 5 beta 8 won’t be released until this Friday. After beta 8, Apple will introduce a Gold Master build on or around September 23rd as has been rumored. We believe that build is what will be loaded onto the already-assembled iPhone 5 hardware currently waiting for final software in China. Apple will then request that carrier partners give technical acceptance to the Gold Master by October 5th if there are no issues with it. What’s not clear is what Apple will do if the Gold Master doesn’t pass technical acceptance for some reason, though odds are it will still be loaded on the iPhone 5 at launch with a software update made available almost immediately following the device’s release.

its not gonna be beta 8 its gonna be gold master which is like windows RTM (released to manufacturers) a simply early full release which is usually for a new hardware in this iOS case its gonna be iphone 5

its beta 8 or gold master no one knows yet because if something is wrong in it they will have to fix it its ganna be kinda like a pre-gold master tho.

I think Apple going to release a Gold-Master edition not another beta because the last beta is almost complete

yea but theres a beta 8 itunes so more than likely beta 8 quick after Gold Master edition because release of iphone 5 is Oct.15

so you think since it is the firmware there gonna give the companies to put on the devices, it will be safe to download and use unlike the other beta's?

yes i have used all beta's fine tho, but to make sure your ok wait till the 15th of next month for an official apple release of ios 5 unless you want to try the beta 8 or whatever.
