A Simple Guide to .Plist Editing

Requirements:
Jailbroken iDevice
iFile (available from Cydia-- the free version works fine)
A game you would like to mod

First off, let me start off by saying that this does NOT work for every single game. You can only modify certain games with this method-- other games may require a different method (such as Hex editing, IDA, etc.) .Plist editing is by far the easiest.

Instructions:
1. After you install iFile, go into var/mobile/Applications
2. You will see a lot of Random numbers and letters. Choose one and see if it's the game you want to modify.
QUICKTIP: To see the names of the applications without having to try each one, simply click the settings button on the bottom left corner. Under the File Browser section, turn Application Names ON.
3. When you have chosen your desired game, the .Plist/File you're editing is usually under Library -> Preferences.
4. The .Plist is not the com.apple.PeoplePicker.plist. It's the one under that.
5. This is the fun part. For this example, I'm going to use Armageddon. (You can edit other games, such as Governor of Poker, Death Rally (an old version), Tiny Wings and others). Click on Edit on the top left corner.
QUICKTIP: If it's a long .plist, there's a search button you can use (it's the magnifying glass). What you want to search is something like "gold" or "score" or whatever you want to edit.
6. When you found what you want to change, simply type in the value you want to change it to. For example, in Armageddon, if I wanted to edit my money, I'd change the value under "money0". If I wanted to change my score for a level, I'd change it under HighScore0_0_0 (or whatever level you want to edit).
QUICKTIP: Do not be greedy and edit your values to something super high. Some games might crash if you do so.
7. After you're all done, click save, and enjoy.

REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR .PLIST IN CASE ANYTHING GOES WRONG.
