i have an i pod that i bought like 3 weeks ago and it was on 4.3.5 and iv been trying to downgrade it so i can do an untethered jailbreak iv try to use umbrella but it only has 4.3.5 blobs is there any way i can do a downgrade

you cant. You need the SHSH of a lower firmware. You will have to live with a thetered jb util they find a new exploit

acually i do have it on 4.2.1 but i have it jailbroken but i still cant turn it of and on again

I thought you said you were at 4.3.5???

you can probaly jailbreak a 4.3.5 because i just jailbroke my sisters 4.3.2 with redsnow just look for some guides

i was but what i figured out is that if the ipod had never been on 4.2.1 that even when u restore it to that u jailbreak it the jailbreak will not work properly
i mean every thing works cydia and that but the unteathered part wont
