Apple boss Tim Cook is expected to announce all the juicy details in San Francisco at 6pm UK time with millions of gadget fans around the world waiting on tenterhooks for the news.

Experts predict a device could be available within the next two weeks.

As with previous iPhone launches, thousands of Brits are sure to queue up overnight or even camp out in a bid to be among the first to get their hands on one.

But opinion is divided as to whether Apple will launch a brand-new slimmer, lighter and faster iPhone 5 or simply refine the current model into a souped-up 4S version with new features, in a similar way it did in 2009 with the iPhone 3GS.

I persoanlly hope it is not a 4GS, but a 5, there are rumors of different features, like a 12 megapixels camera, but we'll have to wait and see.

I will post a new thread on release day explaining the new features the phone will have.

Have a nice day.
