Soft Upgrade
Soft Upgrade was another program released by Nate True, and was released in December 2007. It allowed users to upgrade from their untethered 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 jailbreak on an iPhone 2G and iPod Touch 1G to an untethered 1.1.3 jailbreak. This was actually a downloadable package from Cydia at the time, and it may be possible to still find it.

This program was released on November 21st, 2008. This one had not much new from 2.0, except from the fact that it jailbroke 2.2 and 2.2.1 firmwares. The GUI was exactly the same as it's predecessor, as well as it's publisher.

More will be added tomorrow, I just figured I should get this thread started. Please to leave positive feedback, and some nice criticism to tell me where I may have done wrong and should improve. Please note that by sharing these programs I am in no way claiming them to be created by me. Most jailbreaks in any versions of iOS before 4.0 I list will only be untethered jailbreaks. Also, certain jailbreaks (the 5.0 jailbreaks) ARE untethered only on the iPhone 3GS with the OLD bootrom.
