You heard that right. IT will be soon ported over to those devices but ih8sn0w is having legal difficulties.
A developer ported the Siri voice command system from the new iPhone 4S over to the previous generation iPhone 4. You can see from the video that the system runs, but not smoothly, and we don’t get an actual voice demonstration. The folks at 9to5Mac say that a user can speak to the phone and have it recognized. It works in the primary view engaged by holding the home button of the phone and when you tap on the voice button on the iOS keyboard. The Siri digital voice works as well.
es, you read it right! You’ll be able soon to install & enable Siri on your iPhone 4 thanks to the jailbreak community. Both iPhone hackers @iH8sn0w and @Gojohnnyboi were working to port iPhone 4S’ A5-only Siri feature on A4 devices as the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G.
Siri on iPhone 4 Went from this
To running as smooth as it runs on the iPhone 4S
Also this is the proof it has been ported over to the iPad!

They cant release it for no devices yet, because they cannot release apple files. They have to find a exploit to add it in. I say give it a month and we will have Siri On our devices!
Also if you tell it a command it will not respond because it isn't used to the iPhone 4, they have to spoof the apple servers for it to listen to iPhone 4, itouch, and iPad 2 users.
like you said "they have to spoof the apple servers for it to listen to iPhone 4, itouch, and iPad 2 users." That will be the hard part of making it work on any non 4s device.
As soon as the iPhone 4S is Jailbroken it'll be way easier in porting it to iPhone 4 completely in the form of a Cydia package I guess.
More than likely however there's also a chance we'll see it included as an option in redsn0w or sn0wbreeze.

The iPhone 4S has been Jailbroken?!
That's news to me... (ಠ_ಠ
The 4S has not been jailbroken. The firmware files have been browsed and ported to i4 but I can safely say nobody has jailbroken the 4S as of yet.

Yeah, it's pretty useless without a server spoof. Something for saurik to do, perhaps?
