Well if its on 4.3.3 go to that website i mentioned, if its lower, i will get you a link for it, if its higher then you have to downgrade which sometimes doesn't work correctly

iphone is on 4.0.1 so i downloaded 4.3.3 now do i installed it via itunes 1st or do i use snowbreeze 1st then installed firmware via itunes ?

download iOS 4.3.3 then hold SHIFT and click restore, select the 4.3.3, then when you have updated to iOS 4.3.3 on the iPhone go to Jailbreakme.com it should show a screen like the app store showing cydia

shift restore wont work, ive downloaded new host file and even used tiny umbrella yet i still get the error 3419 when trying to restore

just click update in itunes and make sure itunes is upgraded first. once you upgrade you need to use redsn0w. In redsn0w, make sure to check install baseband from ipad. Theres a catch though, once you update the baseband, you can't restore your iphone with itunes if something goes wrong. you will have to download a custom firmware to restore with. after you update the baseband, go on cydia and install ultrasn0w.
