We all know that pod2g made a jailbreak for A4 device's p0sixninja is releasing soon one for a5 devices.


With the beginning of the new year, We are bringing good news for all the A5 Devices users out there [iPad 2 and iPhone 4S]. Not long ago P0sixninja, The Chronic Dev Team member and the developer behind the greenpois0n jailbreak has announced on his twitter account that he is currently working on jailbreaking the A5 Devices.

Recently, Pod2g has released his untethered jailbreak for all the A4 Devices on iOS 5.0.1. The iPhone Dev Team has included the new jailbreak on their Redsn0w tool. Also there is the Corona 5.0.1 jailbreak tweak and Pwnage Tool to create a custom IPSW.

pod2g is the one working on the A5 jailbreak at the moment once the exploit is complete he will send it to p0sixninja then he'll work on it either implementing it into greenpois0n or something new.

p0sixninja is working on it but expect it for iOS7 because he have been saying he's working on a jailbreak like since iOS3 :p

We have only actually seen 1 Jailbreak from p0sixninja.. which was the greenp0sion that jailbroke 4.2.1, which comex helped him with(greenp0sion on 4.1 was just a copy of limerain, just repackaged).. Plus he had the limerain exploit for a tethered jailbreak so he only had to untether it(not like its an easy thing to do, but atleast stop promising jailbreaks).. But pod2g will probably hand his exploit over to musclenerd or p0sixninja to make the actual tool, cause he has stated in the past(Back when him and planetbeing discovered 24kpwn) that he has trouble actually packaging and setting the jailbreak up for distribution.. hence the reason he gives the exploit to other people to make the tools...

pod2g do it he gave it to Chronic-Dev Team and that release was the untethered for 5.0.1, p0sixninja seems to be working one he's own jailbreak but pod2g is about to release one or that was he say in Twitter.

Personally i think p0sixninja gave up on his A5 Jailbreak.. cause pod2g is pulling a comex.. and working alone.. besides for the distribution of the jailbreak which p0six and musclenerd help with

I personally think that p0six should not make jailbreaks he need to be like the programs maker for Chronic-Dev Team because he have do the more awesome programs available in the scene but making jailbreaks...:confused:

Yea.. but i guess any help with making jailbreaks is good.. since we don't have the 2 jailbreaking gods.. Geohot and Comex... and planetbeing but he's more known for unlocks.. plus he does still have contact with saurik and musclenerd to give them tips and advice if necessary
