(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am having problems with push notifications on ios 5.0.1 in my iPhone 4g 32gb. Push notifications work directly after a restore on both jailbroken and non-jailbroke on 5.0.1, but once I reboot the phone they stop working. I tested with ipusher, facebook and ipush test (although the local notification worked with ipush test).
I have looked around and the most common cause of this problem is hacktivating, which I have not done. I have checked in SAM and it is 'wildcardactive'. I tried go through the SAM fix method but that did not work either.
What really confused me is that push works until the first reboot. I have spent the past 3 days constantly restoring and trying to fix this.

All help is appreciated.

Try restoring but instead of restoring to a backup.. set it up as a new device.. But first I suggest u back up ur contacts cause it will delete them..

To backup your contacts manually..
1st u gotto be Jailbroken..
2nd Download openssh from cydia..
3rd Get a FTP client for your computer.. WinSCP for Windows.. CyberDuck for macs
4th Use the FTP cleint to access your iphone's file system
5th Download the /var/root/library/AddressBook file to your computer..
Then after your done your restore and HOPEFULLY it will fix your problem.. you just place the addressbook back..

If this doesnt fix your Notification problem u can just restore again and this time restore back to your old backup and atleast you'll have your contacts back...

I have tried setting it up as a new phone many times too by not restoring a backup, but still the same problem.
Plus, contacts get re-synced on anyway by either itunes or iCloud.

Activate the 3g & edge then deactive the wifi, push notifications works normally.
After activate the wifi and close the 3g & edge...

When u reboot the iphone, make this steps everytime :S

I think, this is the 5.0.1 untethered bug. Because 4.3.3 untethered jailbreak, never give this problem...
