I don't understand why it wouldn't be worth it. I mean, the update is free and gives you more features. It's not as if you would have anything to lose.

If its free you might aswell get it or if you know how to get it for free like the post link i lefted above. ^ That guy i posted also shows you how to jail break it so you can get apps for free like paid apps. He's really good.

Yeah you can get it for free, look it up on Youtube, that's how I upgraded my Ipod Touch to 3.0
