This is impossible to win, thousands of users are downloading things and only the guy that download the 25 billion is the winner. They should make like a raffle and pick 500 users and give them like $500 or $1,000 to use in the App Store, books or songs.

Well, it's better than nothing.

I guess there's also a promotional side to it-- with more apps downloaded, Apple will get (even more) money at a faster rate. Great promotion for app developers too giving their apps more sales, in a way.
