This doesn’t only change the think of tablet PC consumers but only forced manufacturer to build iPad like tablets and Samsung Galaxy tab, Motorola Xoom, Acer iconia and many other tablets are result of it. Right now, iPad is holding more than 54% market shares of the tablet industry.

Recently, NDP conducted a study which was entitled as: “Tablet Adoptions and Insight Report” and according to this study, iPad users are older and richer as compared to all other Tablet users. The following graph shows the details of this study.

According to the study, more than 40 percent of iPad owners have a household income of $100 thousand while Non-iPad users are usually younger and have less income as compared to former. So, the non-iPad users make an income $45 thousands. This thing can also be explained by the fact that Android tablets are much cheaper than iPad. For example: one can buy Amazon’s hot selling Kindle fire for $200 only while you won’t be able to get an iPad for less than $499.

The Apple iPad has alot of advertising and to someone not actively seraching and researching for tablets, the iPad comes straight to their mind when they hear tablet. They are user friendly and it would appeal to the older generation. Apple stores have good support so I think these are the reasons why. Keep up the good work with these article.
