This thread will have parts added once I find new methods of hacking a variety of games. Each multipage will have examples of games which it works on.

[multipage=Property List / Text Editing]

This is probably the simplest way to modify any game, and also the most common. For this example, I will be showing you how this works with Shopping Cart Hero 3.

1. Navigate to /var/mobile/Applications/ (using iFile) and find Shopping Cart Hero 3 (it will be named SCH3). If you have a bunch of folders with random letters and numbers, tap the settings icon in the bottom left, and find the "Application Names" switch, and put it to on.

2. Open the SCH3 folder, then Documents. Then, exit out of iFile and play one round of Shopping Cart Hero. Once you have, go back to iFile, go back one folder, and then back into Documents. You should see two files: "schOptions.txt" and "schPersistent.txt".

3. Open the schPersistent.txt using the text editor. You should see a bunch of variables, but closer to the middle will be "mTotalMoney = xxxxx". Change that value to "9998559232.000000" (no quotations).

4. Save it, exit out of iFile and Shopping Cart Hero in multitasking, and then reopen Shopping Cart Hero. Play one round, and then open up the shop, and this is what you should see:

Congrats, you successfully hacked Shopping Cart Hero! You can follow the same steps for different games too, just explore and see what you can find!

[multipage=In-App Purchase Cracking]

This is a fairly simple way of getting stuff in a lot of games, but it does rip off the developers, as you are getting paid in-app purchases for free. Just follow the steps below:

1. Open Cydia, go to Manage > Sources > Edit > Add, and type in You must login or register to view this content.. Once the source has been added, search "iAP Cracker", and download the one from xSellize. You will likely need to respring your device.

2. Once you have, go into any game with in-app purchases (like DragonVale), and just choose what you want. You should not be prompted to enter information, and whatever you "purchase" should be added into your game.

I don't support doing this, as it does hurt the developers, but if you want to, I can't stop you.

[multipage=Achievement Hacking]

This won't get you anything in-game, but if you want to show off to your friends about unlocking all the achievements for a game, you can use this simple Cydia tweak. Please note that this works with Gamecenter-compatible games only.

1. Go into Cydia, and search "Overachiever". Download it from the BigBoss repository, and respring your device when it's done.

2. Open your settings application, then click on the Overachiever tab, and select the game you want to unlock achievements for.

3. Open the game you selected, and just wait for the message box to appear at the front.

I also don't like using this, as it ruins the game for me (I already had the achievements for the game I chose). But, once again, I can't stop you from using it.
