I've been trying to jailbreak this iPod by using the greenpois0n 6.1 jailbreak. I follow the instruction of putting it in DFU mode, but it wont work. I've done DFU mode before when unbricking my ipod, but i don't know if its the program or the iPod that is not working. if you can help reply to this thread.

I have the same problem.

You have to do it correctly for it to work. Meaning you have to follow the on screen instructions exactly. In the last step you need to hold the home button for 15 sec... If you let go of the home button to early, it won't work. If it still doesn't work try re downloading greenpois0n again.

Make sure its the iPod Touch Jailbreak and not the Apple TV Jailbreak.

You can try using redsn0w if this didn't work.

did you make sure your computer installed the drivers for dfu mode? dont forget that your computer has to install drivers for every boot function for your device. sometimes it just takes a little longer than the countdown so do what the program says but when it says it failed just let your device sit for a minute then click try again and it will just find it in dfu mode automatically then you should be able to jailbreak
