(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); After restoring my iPod Touch from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 and installing (almost) every jailbreak tweak I had previously, my device seems to be running noticeably faster. I know a firmware update is called an update for a reason, but it is a good change. Is this everyone or just me?

Spite MAKES your device tethered. Boot tethered and uninstall it.

That's news to me. I tried to boot tethered using redsn0w and it just gave me "exploit failed"

It's alright I already restored it.

Edit: I just found this thread, I don't know if it's legit but I hope that it is: You must login or register to view this content.

"Minor improvements", my ass; seems like a whole new device!!

You could use the camera at the lockscreen on a whole lot lower than this by double tapping the home button. And battery improvements was introduced in 5.1 lol.

same thing happened to me!

Do a barrel roll!
I've noticed very slight increased battery life, but performance feels about the same. Better battery is all good in my books, mind!

mine is running lots faster after the update but i have gone from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 and battery is a thousand times better is there any other new features apart from the camera on the lock screen instead of double tap and better battery etc
