(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); After restoring my iPod Touch from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 and installing (almost) every jailbreak tweak I had previously, my device seems to be running noticeably faster. I know a firmware update is called an update for a reason, but it is a good change. Is this everyone or just me?

Yea I did notice a difference! I erased everything, updated, jailbroke, re-downloaded every tweak and app I had before and it's way faster!

I agree. I am just terribly sad that I lost spire as iOS 5.1.1 doesn't have support for it. Spite doesn't work and forced me to restore once already. No siri for me :(

Try doing a tethered jailbreak with Redsn0w and download the rocky racoon untether out of cydia. If it messes up just restore from a backup and wait.

Spite "bricked" my phone. I know it's not actually bricked but it just gave me the apple logo on startup with the untethered jailbreak. I heard that it was supposed to work on tethered iOS 5.1.1 devices however it doesn't work for 5.1.1 untethered and I am not going to risk the headache again.
