Even though iOS 6 was seeded to developers just 24 hours ago, it has already been jailbroken. MuscleNerd, an iPhone Dev Team member, announced on Twitter that he has successfully jailbroken an iPod Touch 4th generation running iOS 6. Sadly, several elements of the jailbreak are broken, including Cydia. He says not to expect a beta release of the jailbreak anytime soon.

Even though you won’t be able to jailbreak iOS 6 just yet, this is great news for the iOS community. iOS 6 will not be released for about 3 months, so developers have a lot of time to iron out the jailbreak bugs.

Why would you (Dev team) announce that you can Jailbreak iOS 6? Surely that's a bad thing saying it right now. Apple will now make changes wont they?

The jailbreak is VERY broken, including Cydia. And no, they did not say "3 months" they said a long time.
