When iOS 4.2 introduced AirPlay for iDevices, Windows was left in the dust. Lots of programs have come up over the years now for Windows users to use this fature.
Today, we'll be using Aerodom. Aerodrom is an AirPlay / AirTunes receiver application for Windows PCs, with it, you can seamlessly stream audio, videos, photos, and photo slideshows from your iDevice to your Windows PC.
Note: For this to work, your iDevice (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) and your PC must be on the same Wi-Fi (or LAN) network.
System Requirements:
- Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0.
- Bonjour for Windows must be installed and running.
- Streaming audio from computer: iTunes 9.2 or newer.
- Streaming video from computer: iTunes 10.2 or newer.
- Streaming from iOS device: iOS 4.2.1 or newer.
- iOS 5 is supported since version 1.1.0.0.
- Devices must be on the same WiFi network.
- PC or Notebook running Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Demo (Free Version) includes:
- Text and logo overlay on pictures and videos.
- Splashscreen.
- No configuration dialog.
- Only one slideshow theme.
Does not allow:
- Audio streaming. (only video and photos)

Now, install the application you downloaded above.
Open Aerodrom.
Connect your PC and your iDevice to the same network.
Start and app such as YouTube.
Press the AirPlay icon.
Select your computer's name.
