ok go to cydia and add this source: apt.dmytro.me
install USB Drive
go to USB Drive
create a disk
Then put your device in Drive only for windows and Drive + iTunes for Mac

I'd probably use this but i have an 8GB 3GS and 6.2 GB is what you get for everything non system so i cant really afford to use it as a memory stick haha
