In a piece of news that is just too wild to believe, the makers of the new Goophone I5, an Android powered device that is in the shape of the upcoming iPhone 5, intends to sue Apple for patent infringement upon release of the iPhone 5 in China. Designed from leaked specs on the iPhone 5, the Goophone has already been patented in China and the company will do all it can to make sure Apple doesn’t steal any of their hard work. You’re kidding, right?

Anyone remember GooApple 3G? It was the original Android powered iPhone device that was actually pretty awesome. Either way, if this company actually intends to sue Apple, that case probably won’t last long. Apple’s lawyers would most likely have a field day with these copycats.

I find this hilarious. They probably are doing this because Apple sues left and right and they want to send a message, but I mean seriously. At least do it right.

They just want money. They think making this they will get the next iPhone banned in China and because of that everyone will buy this "Goophone I5". I have a feeling that the next iPhone will be a great surprise and all the leaks will be fake.

Haha that's probably where they got all the fake prototypes from and are using this as a way of advertising, and of course they would lose the case and get sued right back, but this is obviously not the design of the real iPhone... and the goophone i5 never existed to begin with, this is a hoax.

Apple's reply to this situation: :ha!: You want to sue us? We can buy you plus your whole family.

Why would GooPhone do this? Apple's lawyers will chew them up spit them up and have magical rainbows take a shat on them! :brilliant::rainbowcry:

I would of rather listened to her speak Mandarin with English subs then listen to her speak English..

I don't think the lawsuit will go far but who knows?
