Post: iPhoto version 1.1 on iOS 5.1.1?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I bought iPhoto from the app store for my iPad. They updated it recently, but made it only for iOS 6 or higher. Both my 4S and my iPad are jailbroken and that isn't changing. Can I install iPhoto through installous instead? Is there a tweak on Cydia that'd let me spoof iOS 6? I think because it's an official Apple application, they'd try and force me to update. Google search hasn't helped much. :(

was it a recent update to the app? if so there may be a tweak released soon to fix it, similar to the ibooks fix on ios 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak.

You can try installing through installout or through SSH in to the device and install manually, I dont think it will change anything as the app will check your device system version i think when starting, I have a 3GS so cant help you, iPhoto was for devices iphone 4 and upwards

I think iPhoto is on installous but don't hold me to it. I don't have a Jailbroken iPhone anymore to go and check lol.

You can check via apptrackr if you wanted, i dont think you would want to but if installous decides not to work for you and not load the web pages, installous is just apptrackr's app i think, it uses the exact same links and you have to put the captcha in just like on the app.
